  • Cilantro is the leaf of the young coriander plant, coriandrum sativum, an herb in the parsley family, similar to anise.

How to Store:

  • Cilantro is best stored on the counter in a vase, like a bouquet of flowers. It is best to use it as soon as it is picked.

​How to Freeze: Lasts up to 4-6 months

  • Pack olive oil covered chopped herbs in an ice cube tray. Wrap trays in plastic wrap. Use in soups or stews or thaw in pan over low heat.
