Description:

  • Rutabaga is a root vegetable which is a cross between a cabbage and turnip.

How to Store:

  • Rutabagas can last in a cool setting for up to three months.

​How to Freeze: Lasts up to 9 months

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cut rutabagas into large dice. Blanch rutabaga for 3 minutes then plunge into ice water for 3 minutes. Place cooled rutabaga in freezer bags.
