Description:

  • Fennel is sweet with hints of licorice or anise tastes.

How to Store:

  • A fennel bulb can be wrapped in a plastic bag with holes in the refrigerator for up to one week.

​How to Freeze: Lasts up to 10-12 months

  • Chop fronds and stalks and portion into ice cube trays. Cover with water and freeze solid. Wrap in plastic wrap.

  • For bulbs: cut into quarters and blanch in boiling water for 1 min. Then plunge into ice water for 1 min. Pat dry and place pieces in freezer bags.
